Collection from school
The school day finishes at 3.15pm, and all pupils are expected (unless attending a club) to be collected by a nominated adult or leave site by an agreed method. If for any reason you are delayed, please inform the school office to ensure any distress caused is kept
to a minimum. We have a duty of care and are required to inform the relevant authority if a child is persistently collected late from school.
Likewise PLEASE do not collect other people’s children, unless this has been arranged beforehand and the school office / Mrs Mitchell has been informed. All arrangements will be logged daily and a password agreed. The safety of our children is paramount at all times, Please help us to ensure that all pupils are collected responsibly at the end of the school day.
Bad Weather Procedures / School Closure
In the event of the school being closed, due to adverse weather conditions, a parent mail text will be sent alerting you to this fact by 7.30am. The decision to remain closed is never taken lightly, but after consultation with senior staff and following any guidance from Hertfordshire County Council.
Litter and the Mound
Please help us care for our environment and pick up any litter dropped. Likewise can I ask that parents and children do not walk across the mound at the front of the school and disturb the bulbs – the daffodils are a lovely sight. Please help us to respect our environment.
