Appointment of New Headteacher

Good morning

I am delighted to be writing to you today to officially inform you that I have been successful in becoming the new Headteacher of Four Swannes primary school.

As most of you may be aware, I have been in place as acting headteacher for approximately two years now where I have already been doing my best to ensure that your children and the wider community of Four Swannes have been getting the support and direction required to give the best opportunities for all.

My drive and ambition to make sure that Four Swannes develops into a thriving learning environment and a welcome place for all parents/guardians to visit will now become reality. I truly have a passion to do what is best for our young learners but equally want for our community to recognise Four Swannes as more than just a place of learning. One of my key priorities will be to reintroduce a supportive Friends of Four Swannes (FoFS) committee led by a parent body that wants to invest in a shared vision of where to take Four Swannes. Our school will ensure that, through the best opportunities, your children will become confident young people by achieving well academically as well as being well developed both socially and emotionally.

I would like to thank you all for your support over the last few years which, for a number of reasons, have been rather challenging for us all and to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Jones for her dedication to the school over the last 16 years. I am sure that you will join me in wishing her the best for her retirement.

Just to finish, I want to repeat how proud and excited I am to be leading such a wonderful school forward in what will be an era of change and development. I look forward to collaborating with you all in helping all our young learners begin to dream of bright futures and for us to give them the tools to make those dreams come true.

Mr Moore

Headteacher
